Thank you for your early support!

Hello!
Thank you all for your quick response to donate and for your warm messages of support.I've had the personal experience of donating to a crowdfunding project before too, and so I know that it can be a big deal to express support at all, regardless of the amount. So it moves me so deeply that so many of you have shown support to me and the Shiryudoh studio on this occasion, and I'm especially grateful for each and every contribution. Once again I feel very strongly that Shiryudoh is a studio that exists by the support of all of us together. Thank you very much!
This is precisely why it unsettles me that Shiryudoh is now in danger. In this building complex, we are the last ones standing up to the pressure while everyone else has already succumbed to the threats and has moved away. Well, it's not like we can stick around forever in a place that can't wait to kick us out.
The reason we chose this particular location to begin with is because we were looking forward to the Rugby World Cup and upcoming Olympic games in 2020. About 80% of our clients come from abroad anyway, and with these two big events we expect even more than usual.
I know that a convenient location is going to be very important for travelers, so I'm currently looking for a new location that fills that requirement. I have found some good prospective locations for moving the studio along the Meguro line in a convenient yet small, local area that I think is quite lovely. There are several other candidates I have in mind too, so I'll keep you updated. Rather than somewhere huge and downtown, I prefer areas that are quiet and peaceful but that have a nice shopping-district near the station with a more intimate feeling. Somewhere that you feel comfortable saying hello to any passer-by on the street. That's the kind of warm atmosphere I hope to find for the next location of Shiryudoh studio.
Since these are not major hubs or touristy places, you don't see very many foreign faces either. It feels like a more authentic corner of Japan and Tokyo in particular, and I really want to share that comfortable, friendly feeling of "real suburban Tokyo" with our clients.
I'd like to keep sharing updates about the progress of searching for a new studio location with you, so thank you for reading and keeping up with our news.
And again, thank you for your quick action to offer us support in our time of need. It truly gives Shiryudoh the strength to look forward to overcome any trouble!
