Ketch! (Red colored Mohawk) and HIRO-PON meets in 1999, forming a duo ever since.
Their duo name, Gamarjobat stands for “Hello” in Georgian.
Their performance astonishes people from around the globe; and as “performers that represent the world” they have performed in more than 30 countries around the world, performing more than 200 times at festivals.
They have mainly focused on performing outside the country over the years, but recently started to perform at their home country, Japan. Still, numerous numbers of offers from around the globe come into their office.
What attracts the people to Gamarjobat? The answer is obvious: the unique and well-thought storyline of their acts, and their live shows that bring not only laughter but surprises to the audience. Additionally over the recent years they have begun to star in commercials and TV shows.
Newsweek has included in their list of “Top 100 Japanese people respected around the world”.
In 2010 they started a group which included members that specialized in silent comedy, called the “Gamarjobat Project”.
