"Yamato" is ancient name of country Japan.
"Mai" means Dance in Japanese.

This event is one of a kind invitation to the Infinity World, to Tradition and Creativity.

Word from Master Fumiko Yamato:
My most favorite word is "Aqua" or "Water"
A drop of gem from the way up the sky eventually makes a little stream, runs to the rocks while gushing down, turns into a large yet calm river. It nurture lives and finally reaches to the great sea. Evaporated from the sea, it rises to the heaven again and becomes rain to the moisten the earth. How quiet but ever-changing a life a drop of water has... Just as such a water, we will make our "MAI" a quiet yet passionate world of phantasm which also will permeates into your heart.

The heart of our predcessors who "LOVED" the moon, flower, and nature must have been filled with an abundance of "LOVE". Even to embrance the entire unuverse...
Dances were created where people tried to express their inner feeling with hands and feet in motion.

Dancers were always in lives of the multitude.

y earnest wish is to convey to you the "Heart of Japan" and delights of the Japanese Dance through "MAI" though still imperfect.

At the age of 9, she started taking lessons from Kikunojo Onoue, the initiator of the Onoue School. Established the Kanesaki School of Dancing "MAI" in 1977. She and her dancers has been active around Japan especially in Tokyo, Osaka, Wakayama as an independent dancers holding recitals and exhibitions.
