Born in Tokyo in 1957. Graduated from University of Waseda.
Yui Aragaki’s “Pocky”, Shingo Mama’s “Oha Rock”, YUKI’s “JOY”, recently, DAIWA HOUSE’s “Also in Vietnam version”, JUJU’s promotion video of “Hot Stuff”, etc… She has produced more than 1,000 choreographies of song, TV advertisement, movie, musical, etc.
She has a reputation for novel and creative choreography. Especially in TV advertisement industry, she has a nickname of “No. 1 leading hit-maker”
In 2011, she became the first Japanese who worked with a Chinese TV advertisement.
As well as the dance performance activities domestically and internationally and live performance activities as a singer-songwriter for 18 years, she has been producing “Barrie-free workshop” which is based on the improvisational expression development with disable people. With these experiences, she has developed an original method called “Nature Vibration” which attracts attention from business industry and education industry. In 2011, she gave a lecture of General Education School of University of Tokyo for the 1st semester (6months) and, in 2012, she gave a lecture of experience learning for all the graduates.
Also, Kaoruko’s assistant, Ms. Yuko Nakano who is in the doctoral degree in University of Tokyo, wrote an essay of the benefits of the method and the outcome at the University of Tokyo, and presented it in the 3 international academic conferences such as “Cognitive Science”, “Neuroscience” and “Dance Research”. The essay drew huge attention and the related researches have been carried out since then.
At present, together with the activities as a choreographer, she organizes the workshop of “Nature Vibration Method” for business and/or educational organizations and also she presides “Kaoruko’s Karada Labo School” to learn the method, dance and choreography.
Also, she formed improvised artist group, “Apicupi A” to challenge the brand new way of expression art. She energetically organizes a regular performance live, “Api-Fes”, a creative performance, “apiture” and a barrie-free live performance, “Api-Lucky”.
